This book was a great distraction that I read in a day! I loved the duel story-lines and the way the two stories fit together. I immediately got The Last Mrs Parrish vibes and now I can see I was spot on. This book is about a woman whose husband left her for another woman. She is having a hard time wrapping her head around it- all she knows is that she has to stop the upcoming wedding.
What I liked about this book was that it was fast-paced. I was immersed in the story from the beginning and liked all the detail the authors put into it. I could picture everything happening in the story and I was invested in both story lines. I also liked the way there were some unique plot points that aren’t in every thriller. I read a lot of thrillers so sometimes it can be easy to tell each twist of the story. The Wife Between Us truly caught me off guard a few times and gave me chills!
I also liked the characters in this story and felt that they were well-written and I could relate with them. I didn’t like the predictability of this story and how I knew where it was going after the first half of the book. Regardless, there were still so many surprising moments and I really enjoyed the journey. I’m happy I chose this for my book club monthly pick! 4-stars from me.
