I'm not usually one for thrillers, but I was invested from the get go. I did guess the ending twist right away, but it made it an intriguing read to know or think you know how it's going to end.

The fact that this is written by an author duo is impressive because the story is written so cohesively. It feel's like the same voice throughout, which I appreciate. I did like Nellie as a character and to see her growth and downfall, while trying to keep it together and semi-stalking her ex's fiancé. I found Richard to be super creepy from the get go.

I do wish that this had a bit more deviousness. By the time we do get to the end it feels fairly tame. I wanted bigger confrontations, tension, and drama. All in all, it turned out how I expected. But that doesn't mean it wasn't good. The writing was so well done and I wanted to stick with both Nellie and Vanessa to the end.
