Our protagonist, Vanessa, is in a difficult situation, having divorced from Richard, who supported her financially. During her marriage, Vanessa did not work, and now she is faced with the situation of living with her aunt Charlotte, working in a clothing store, and confronting her ghosts from her past.

Vanessa hides secrets from when she lived in Florida, having hidden them from her husband, which put her relationship in check. But as always, nothing is what it seems, and certain situations are added to this, which are the ones that turn the story around, and that will reveal the truth about our protagonists.

After learning that her ex-husband is going to marry his lover, Emma, Vanessa will become obsessed in an incessant way, which will lead her to harass them and meddle in their relationship. We have other characters like Maureen, Richard's sister. Each and every one of the characters will surprise you, as they all have something to hide.

This novel is divided into three parts, and in each of them the characteristics of the characters are revealed, making you doubt the truth of each of them, which generates a great intrigue.

The story will surprise you as you turn the pages and it will mix the present with the past, to explain the reason for everything that happens. All of this is linked in a spectacular way, leaving a perfectly woven story whose unexpected outcome will give a great ending to the novel.

Narrated in a meticulous and intriguing way, it will catch you from the first page and will generate a great addiction for reading, wanting to know the answers that surround all the mysteries that surround the story.

The truth is that I love psychological thrillers, where nothing is what it seems, where everything becomes entangled and little by little, the truth unravels. Without a doubt, it is a novel that I recommend reading, I assure you that it will catch you.
