Lots of Twists

I enjoyed the psychological thriller aspect of this and some of the twists were unexpected. It was a very fast-paced read--I think I read it in one day. I figured out the major twist that made most people love this book, which made it slightly underwhelming for me, but I still felt like it was an interesting and unique twist and enjoyed reading the book. The one thing that bumped this down for me was that there were almost too many twists that tied together and made the plot seem pretty unrealistic at times. It just showed the authors' hands too obviously for me. I did like and think that it was done well in comparison to other domestic thrillers that tried to do the same thing and failed to build the suspense that "The Wife Between Us" did ("The Last Mrs. Parrish" comes to mind). I think those who like psychological and domestic thrillers, like "Gone Girl," would like this and probably even some who liked the thriller aspect of "Gone Girl," but didn't love the outcome and unlikeable characters.
