This book can make you think you are losing your mind! It is a great psychological thriller that makes you feel like you're the main character. The only reason it is missing a star is how it ends. But the mystery, the gaslighting, the husband, the plot twists, all of it will keep you turning pages late into the night.
Love can definitely make you blind to the real truth of your surroundings. You can not assume anything, even from the beginning. The way the main chatacter was treated throughout the story and the twist of how the story makes you think that she is a jealous ex-wife was written well. However, the ending did fall a little flat with how the husband was caught and treated. He could have had a better motive. But then again, most men love to have power over things and people. I would recommend this for every book club out there. So many good discussions and point of interests to share with friends.
