Some people dug into this book blind, not knowing what it was about. Some people dove in after reading the back cover, reading a review, hearing a synopsis in conversation. This book is a thriller, and it's hard to pave a new path with thrillers. I think the twists and turns in this novel are more fun if you go into this book blind. That being said, if you're here you probably know what the book is about anyways. So. The Wife Between us is written beautifully. I thoroughly enjoy reading about the upscale stay-at-home-wife because I have a rich husband. The lifestyle I don't want not will I ever achieve. So that appealed to me. But the plot twists truly took me by surprise. I was hooked and needed to know what happened next. I enjoyed trying to guess what was going to happen next, and while I was correct sometimes, I wasn't always. And that's half the fun. The author does an amazing job of connecting back to smaller details I may have forgotten otherwise and tieing up lose ends. The epilogue however, doesn't feel necessary to the story. I feel like it was tacked on just because, but we still would have had a good book without it.
