This book is definitely on the same path as Gone Girl. I enjoyed it, but because I was prepared for a twist, I wasn’t as shocked as I wanted to be. I would have preferred going into this book completely blind, and it would have made it a better experience for me. However, the book itself is fantastic and I do feel like anyone who enjoyed Gone Girl will also enjoy this book. I would go as far as to say that the characters are not quite as likeable as I would have expected, but they’re still okay.
