What a fun and compelling read! I wanted to devour this book, and I enjoyed every page. The story was truly thrilling as it unfolded and even though I thought I had some idea of what the plot twists would be, there was so much more that I did not see coming. This book was so well crafted that even the things that didn't surprise me in no way lessened my enjoyment.
The book blurb did not exaggerate when it exhorts the reader to Assume Nothing. One of the things that makes this book so unique and fun to read is that nothing is what it seems. Even knowing that, and gaining an idea of what the reality is, there will still be more unexpected things to be revealed. Although the plot is deep and full of twists and turns, the story flows smoothly, is bolstered by strong characters, and seems effortless to read.
