The story begins with a view of the ex-wife and the soon to be wife. The characters of these women are just beginning to become unveiled. There are very interesting glimpses of some mysterious event in their past. The writer introduces little hints that has the reader wondering what those are and how they will influence the behaviors of these two women. The fourth chapter ends with a bit of a cliff hanger and has the reader craving for more.
