Before I heard of the Woman in the Window, The Wife Between Us was the book I was anticipating on reading the most in 2018.
I would say that it held up to most of my expectations, however it wasn't as gripping as I hoped that it would be.
I have to admit the first half got me. I think a lot of people figured out the "twist" but it took me a moment and I had that OHHHH moment.
The 2nd half of this book has a lot more twists and turns. We really learn about Nellie in the first half of the novel and how her relationship with Richard. The book continues to reference Vanessa, his ex wife who won't leave him alone. Like all the reviews/blurbs have said Assume Nothing.
I don't want to give much more away because I don't want to spoil anything. If you like suspense/thrillers I would say give this one a chance.
