"The Wife Between Us" is a thriller with multiple twists. It had been suspenseful without trying to be suspenseful (if that even makes any sense). I had a certain expectation with this book and apparently, I never learned to expect the unexpected.
This novel follows a woman who had a cheating husband? I don't know why she was acting so unusual but it was mysterious and kind of disturbing. She's the "crazy ex-wife" trope that can't let go of the past. Also, I don't want to go into detail because there's just so much plot twists and since I don't want to spoil anything you'll just have to take my word for it.
I liked the alternating point of views as well. I believe that one was told through the eyes of the new wife and the other is the ex. This was definitely not something I enjoyed for personal reasons. However, it had been a suspenseful read. Definitely lived up to its expectation as a thriller.
