The Wife Between Us is the perfect psychological/domestic thriller. Part One consists of a story of two woman loving the same man. Nellie is preparing to wed this man while Vanessa is trying to deal with the divorce from this man. As the story progresses, Part Two brings the two together. The stories mold together and the readers perception is skewed. Part Three makes the reader question what they have been reading, where the truth lies, and whether to believe what is being described.
The use of unreliable narrator made this a different type of domestic thriller. The authors do a great job at portraying this type of narrator by intertwining the present with past memories, causing the reader to not know what is real and what is a distorted memory. Although this could get confusing at times and was a bit jumpy, it kept me wondering if I could believe the narrator. This is what kept the story interesting and binge-worthy.
