Assume nothing. Period.

The book synopsis could not be more true: assume nothing. Just when I thought I had this book figured out, there was a twist. And then another twist. And from page one, the turns never stopped.

It's every book lovers gut to make assumptions as they read through - that's the fun of the game: can I figure out the ending before the last page? Sometimes, you're luck and other times you're not. Guess what? You'll never be lucky here. You can make assumption after assumption after assumption, but not one will work in your favor.

I love a good suspenseful write especially one with complex characters, lies, and intrigue. And I love this writer duo. Hendricks/Pekkanen knows exactly how to hook the reader before your fingers turn page one.
