I loved how this book played with perspective and really flipped things on its head. I was genuinely shocked by the time I got to the part where we learned that both “wives” were actually one and the same. It was brilliant. Both writers write so well together, and I found it to be quite flawless and didn’t even remember much of the time that there were two authors that had a hand in the writing of the narrative. Definitely a novel that kept me engaged right up until the very end. Plus, once again, these authors kill it with a beautiful, spooky, engaging cover that draws potential readers in. Even before they read the summary of the book. Similar to The Silent Patient, it’s the twist that bumps this book from a 3 to a 4.
