Assume nothing? It was so hard not to assume that I knew what was going on. I didn’t. I didn’t know what was going on AT ALL. I had zero detective skills when it came to this book.
The twists, the turns, the “what the hell is going on” moments.. they were fantastic! I honestly had to re-read a few parts because I thought I had to check myself. Nope. That’s what they actually wrote.
You’ll meet Richard (the controlling husband), Vanessa (the ex) and Nellie (the young and pretty new gal.) Is Vanessa trying to save her marriage or end it? Is she trying to pawn Richard off or save Nellie? Is she bat shit crazy or smart as hell? Is this all a dream or an all too messed up reality? OR is it none of the above?
