The Wife Between Us by Greer Hendricks and Sarah Pekkanen is an Adult Mystery / Thriller that I decided to pick up because Kayla (@booksandlala) gave it 5 stars. In short, I can see why. This was excellent. I think I have a little bit of a thing for stalkers since this and You by Caroline Kepnes are my two favourite thrillers of 2019 so far.
I can't say too much about the plot of this story, but I can say that the book is split into 3 main parts. During the first part, the chapters alternate between Richards ex-wife (Vanessa) who may have a drinking problem and has been left financially unsupported after their break-up and Richard's young fiancé (Nellie) who is busy planning her dream wedding.
My primary reason for the 4 star assessment instead of a 5 star assessment is because it is quite confusing at times! I also thought that the final reveal was unnecessary and I don't really like endings where everything is perfectly tied together.
