I noticed this book earlier this week on the Goodreads site. While psychological suspense is not normally my 1st choice of mystery/thriller options, the book was tagged as a "Want-to-read" by my friend Julie whose opinions / suggestions are usually well worth following up on (IMO). Also tagged by another friend Adrian who is not the same voluminous reader as Julie, I've found his recommendations / opinions the always be worth further investigation. Noodled a little deeper in made a mental "sticky note" to self.
When I saw the excerpt on this site, I immediately jumped right in! I am so glad I did!. Have trashed that mental "sticky note" (they tend to get lost in my disorganized mind) and wrote an actual paper note in my special little, real notebook by my computer (haven't managed to really lose it after nearly a year of use, though I have buried it regularly on my desk). Title, author & publication date are now on my notebook page headed MUST READ.
