It's good work when an author makes us care about both of our lead characters in their first chapter, but it's great when that carries out throughout the book. I desperately want to find out more about Nellie, Vanessa, and our current mystery man Richard. What happened in his last marriage? What ended it? How is that going to hang over his impending one? And how will our leads endure it?
Also, let me just say this cover is a-maz-ing! I'm always a sucker for well lined up covers, and this one is perfect. Two women lined up whose faces almost make a third? Could we have a potential hint to the plot here? I don't know, but I do know I'm in love with this book!
