Welcome to the creepy, scary town of Featherbank!

For the past couple of months I have seen The Whisper Man advertised and talked about all over social media. I knew from what I read that this was a book that I needed to get my hands on. Not only did I read it, I devoured it! Once I started, I just couldn’t put it down. The fact that this is the author, Alex North’s debut novel simply blows my mind. It’s a little scary, definitely creepy and quite disturbing. I’m not sure what genre I would classify it as, as it’s part horror, part thriller. There are several well depicted characters but it was never confusing for me to follow the storyline. All I know is that after being in a bit of a reading slump, this book was exactly what I needed. I will be recommending this to everyone. I really can’t wait to see and read what the author writes next. From reading this, I know his books are an instant buy for me.
