This is a dark novel that actually creeped me out late at night. When I was little, I went through a time period when I would wake up at night terrified and sure I could see a scary man watching me. In this book, little boys here a man whispering into their houses and then are abducted. Holy scary!
🦋 If you are a fan of CSI or Criminal Minds, I think you’ll like this one.
🦋 The Whisper Man centers around dysfunctional father-son relationships. All of them struggle with connection and their own demons. It made me want to schedule some Daddy/ kiddo time with my husband and toddler.
🦋 This book is faced paced and wraps up nicely. I found the end incredibly satisfying.
🦋 I think the creepiest part of the entire book for me was the presence of corpse eating butterflies. I had no idea such a thing existed! 😨
