I found myself saying, “oh hellllll no” several times during this book. It was like a scary movie when you see the creepy doll move it’s head after the protagonist walks past the then still doll. It had the perfect amount of creepy that made my skin crawl. Having 2 kids already, I know they do say the creepiest things, but this was a whole different level of jeebies. Bravo to Alex North for making me sleep with the night on for several nights.
