Anyone that is a fan of horror or dark macabre books, must read The Whisper Man. Alex North's debut novel is a creepy, dark, atmospheric read that is incredibly hard to put down. I got my copy through Book of the Month on a whim after hearing quite a bit about this title. I had no idea I would love it this much. I didn't see the ending coming at all! I really enjoyed how creepy this book was. It really sticks with you after putting the book down. The characters are fleshed out so well, I felt like I knew them. I think North is going to be an author to watch in the coming years, specifically for the horror genre. His writing is atmospheric and raw. I can't wait to see what else he puts out in the future!
