From the moment I read the first chapter I was completely hooked. I needed to know how the story ended. The Whisper Man bounces from a missing persons investigation That is eerily similar to one investigator Pete Willis dealt with years prior and the story of Tom Kennedy and his son-who ate looking for a fresh start after his wife has passed. North’s writing style keeps you turning page after page, although the chapters are short enough that you don’t feel like you’re obligated to keep reading without taking a break. I love how there were no loose ends at the end of the book and everything was explained some way or another without taking away from the spine chilling story North portrays in the Whisper Man. If you’re looking for a book that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very last page, add this book to your must reads!
