I really liked this book. It was nothing like what I expected. Even the twist caught me by surprise. It was very intriguing. The relationship between Jake and Tom was very sweet. I felt Tom’s pain. I didn’t feel it was creepy. It was definitely weird, don’t get me wrong, it just wasn’t bone chilling, keep me awake at night. I am glad I read it and will definitely read more from this author. This would make a really good movie. My only complaint was I felt like the author could had added a bit onto the end with the Whisper Man (I don’t want to spoil anything. I just felt like it cut off) The plot was good, the story was good, the twist was good and the end was good. I am so happy I got it from Book of The Month Club.
