This was a well written book and an easy read. There were no parts that "lagged" for me. A town had children who were abducted by a man who whispered to them. He was caught but, 20 years later, the abductions begin again and the town fears a copycat perpetrator. A man and his son move into town and move into the "scary house". They begin to hear things in the house and the son is extremely aware of the sounds and strange things going on. This book sort of reminded me of The Amityville Horror, in that the house holds a lot of the answers to what is going on. It is scary enough for a town to have so many children abducted, but when the man responsible is caught and they think they are safe again, 20 years later everything begins again.
