This was one of the best thrillers I've read in long time. I couldn't put it down and wound up finishing it in less than 2 days.

Tom Kennedy and his young son Jake have always struggled to talk with each other. It becomes even harder when Tom's wife suddenly passes away. When they move to a new home, one that Jake is determined to move to, strange things begin happening in the night. There are whispers, creaking noises, and Jake's imaginary friends don't seem like fantasies any more. It also doesn't help that there are rumors circulating that the Whisper Man, a kidnapper and killer, is back to haunt the residents of Featherbank. The only issue with this is that he is still behind bars. Is this the work of a copycat, accomplice, or something much more sinister?

Told from multiple points of view, the reader is granted an omniscient view into the life of the Kennedy's the Detectives working the case of the Whisper Man, and even the Whisper Man himself. Having that viewpoint doesn't make this book any less creepy, however. Each chapter brings new surprises and reveals secrets long-hidden from those who need to know them the most.

Creepy and nightmarish, I recommend this book to anyone looking for a page-turner that will keep them up at night.
