I read the sneak peek of this book. My first thoughts... I am super excited to finish this story. The plot pulls you in right from the first page. The writing style is reminiscent of Stephen King. The Pov's are interesting it fluctuates between 3rd person and multiple first-person points of view. Jake steals your heart right away. The story starts out with the disappearance of a little boy and we follow the inspectors on the case. Then we meet Jake and his dad who are trying to pull their lives together after the tragic loss of Jake's mom. So far those are the 2 POV's we follow. The story flows really well and is easy to read. I'm invested after just 6 chapters! I will update my review once I have read the entire story.
