This book pulled me in right away and kept me turning pages until the end. The best thing about this book was that it was creepy without being gory. It deals with kidnapping and killing children, but the violence is just alluded to and not explicit. This would make a great October/Halloween time read!
The pacing was great, the characters were relatable, and there was more to the story than just the mystery/thriller aspect. I liked that there was family growth in the book (beyond just solving the mystery).
The chapters are not long which helps greatly to keep you wanting to read the book until the end.
This was the first book I read by Alex North, but I am looking forward to whatever he writes next!
