After reading about this book, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. I loved getting to know all the characters, and enjoyed how some of the chapters were told from the child, Jake’s, point of view. However, I did get confused from time to time about whose point of view I was reading as it switched chapters, and would need to reread a couple paragraphs. I loved how the characters developed and how we learned more about their connections. Overall, I loved the mystery throughout the story, especially with the question of supernatural elements. Was Jake just talking to an imaginary friend? Or was there a ghost?
