This book was so hyped up that it fell short for me. It wasn't very scary. However, the narrative did have me turning the pages and I read it in two sittings. But when I finished, I was kind of left with the feeling "that's all?"
I'm a hardcore horror reader so I would say this is more in the thriller category than horror and I wanted more. Because of its compelling nature, I gave this one four stars, but on a horror level it is very mediocre.
