This book was creepy as all hell, which is a big part of the reason why I enjoyed it so much. It was a fascinating mystery that I honestly couldn’t predict. The Whisper Man did a fantastic job of mixing perspectives, keeping me guessing the whole way. Plus I really enjoyed how the father and son relationship element was introduced and carried throughout the book, adding a real human element to this fantastic detective story. I personally think that it really helped to ground the story in reality, and give readers something to hold onto and root for. Plus it definitely helped to make the ending that much more uplifting when the son and father are reunited AND start to understand one another and see eye to eye.
