There were so many elements to this book! The character development and the father- son dynamics! I loved this change from always being a woman who’s caught in the middle of everything- this time it was a man, a father and it was interesting to see the depths he’d go to to protect his son. Even though the relationship is flawed. There’s a bunch of questions that are raised while reading this.. is it a supernatural thing? Is there more than one Whisper Man? What’s lurking at the end of the bed? In the other room? Outside your window??? How is everything/everyone connected? Or are they? This read was definitely creepy. Made me question if ghosts are real! Or at the very least made me think the boogeyman was! There was definitely surprising developments that I didn’t see coming and I couldn’t picture the ending beforehand! I had so many theories in mind before the ending & it’s always refreshing when a book isn’t so predictable. I thoroughly enjoyed this novel and I couldn’t put it down! It kept me in suspense throughout!
