Everything a Psychological Thriller Should Be!
Four stars to one of the creepiest books I have ever read! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Alex North does an incredible job of juggling multiple narratives and putting together the epitome of what a psychological thriller should be. I’m the type of person who is rarely frightened by much, but this book gave me the heebie-jeebies. Just when you think the story couldn’t possibly become any more twisted, it does. Over and over again.
All in all, this is a very complicated and poignant story. Centered around grief, loss, and father-son relationships, this story chilled me to the bone while also being heartwarming and heartbreaking at the same time. It did get a bit dense with description at times, and wasn’t a quick read for me by any means, but overall I’d highly recommend this to anyone looking for a good thriller with an excellent storyline.
