I was so looking forward to this book when I got it. The concept sounded amazing, the cover was beautiful, and it was a book of the month pick!! Unfortunately this was just a meh book for me. It was very predictable and it wasn’t intriguing or spooky enough for my liking. It was just a detective story with a very predictable killer and ending. It wasn’t terrible though, the writing was good and I think the author has potential to right a really good thriller. This just wasn’t it for me. I will definitely pick up something else from this author cause like I said I think he has the potential to write something good and I’m curious to see how much better he can get. If you don’t read many thriller and want to get into the genre this would be a good starting point.
