~Audiobook review~ If dark, twisty, haunting crime fiction narrated perfectly with an atmospheric accent then this audiobook is for you!
Whether you listen to or read The Whisper Man, prepare yourself and cancel all your plans because once you start you might not be able to stop. I think the audio probably slowed me down but this “book” was unputdownable. For the first half of the book I couldn’t even tell what kind of a book this was, but I was all in! The narration of the audio has a fairly thick, Northern British accent which really added to the ambiance of the story for me, but maybe you better stick to the physical copy of thick accents distract you. Don’t read if you can’t deal with spooky or creepy stories involving children but do read if you are up for a chilling, pulse-racing, keep you up at night book.
