I love when the pacing of a thriller escalates toward the end and you stay up 2 hours past your bedtime to finish it!

The Whisper Man has so much going for it - a couple unexpected twists, a creepy little nursery rhyme and a dash of the supernatural to add some extra suspense. Despite being a fast-paced read, I came to really care about the characters and their well-being, so suffice to say, I was on the edge of my seat for the last 100ish pages.

I’m not confident I enjoyed the many POVs; the voices weren’t distinct enough for me to find them all necessary. There were also a couple of plot points I found a bit far-fetched, and which seemed to be done out of convenience. I’d still definitely recommend The Whisper Man though, but more as a thriller and less as a mystery/whodunnit.
