The cover image and title immediately grabbed my attention. The simplicity of the cover paired with the title immediately set the tone of suspense. I was very happy to see that the story delivered. From the start of the book my attention was snagged and I wanted to know more about these characters. What happened to result in this father writing this letter to his son? I had to keep reading to find out. As the story continued and the mystique of the Whisper Man is established, my mind began trying to solve the mystery of what could possibly happen and who is this person. I'm happy to say that the author thoroughly develops this story so the reader isn't immediately able to figure out the answers to these questions thus making the story even more creepy. The pacing and world building is so good that you'll no want to put this down.
