This book was pretty creepy. A serial killer that abducts children by whispering to them through their windows. The Whisper Man was caught years ago, but the whispers are back. Is there a copycat killer starting to take kids again? Or something supernatural?
While I was intrigued and it held my attention, it did leave me wishing there were more twists.
There were some mysterious moments thrown in that just didn’t seem to fit once they were revealed.
Even though, I was able to predict most of the ending, I still enjoyed this book. I recommend the audiobook for and added bit of creepiness. The “whispers” are actually pretty spine-tingling scary on the audiobook. The scare factor of the audiobook and (despite being a little predictable) the fact that it held my attention is why I recommend this book. I highly suggest reading at night for more impact!
