I had been waiting to get my hands on this book for quiet sometime. I recently enjoyed this story on the audiobook edition from my local library. I don't think I was quiet prepared for how spooky this book was going to be. The horror aspect of this "thriller" book was extremely well done and surprising. I really enjoyed the multi generation aspect of this series. Jake and Tom made excellent characters. This book explores the "whisper man", a serial killer from twenty years ago that brutally murder five residents of this old town. He was finally captured but his legacy lives on. Or so we thought. Reading/listening to this story gave me goosebumps! It was absolutely terrifying but in the best ways possible. Well done!
