This book was somewhere between silence of the lambs and a boogeyman. The whisper man was essentially caught but there was still someone out there whispering to children. Jake heard the whispers. Pete Willis wants to catch the latest whisperer. It was a great portrayal of the characters. The plot moved along at a fast pace. I am used to Stephen King so for me this was a good crime thriller not as spooky as I would have liked
At times it was a bit confusing but was wrapped up in the end. No spoilers, just a good boogeyman story that I dont think will keep you up at night but will give you minor creeps, just enough to make the book interesting and worth reading. You may be listening for whispers, though.
