I love the title!
I love the cover art.
I love small town settings.
I found the "F" word on the first page pretty off-putting.
But wow! This story pulled me in quickly with the following lines:
It’s not going to be easy, and I need to start with an apology. Because over the years I’ve told you many times that there’s no such thing as mon- sters.
I’m sorry that I lied.
Whew! I don't usually read thrillers (I get creeped out) but I'm already invested in this one. ;)
