I cannot wait to continue reading this book. We are introduced to two scenarios in the early pages of this book. First, we meet a man who is talking to his son about whether monsters are real. Over the course of the first few pages, we learn that the mother of the son has died and the two guys are trying to make it on their own, with the son struggling with imaginary friends, or perhaps something more sinister. Next, we see a young boy abducted and the hunt to find him. The mother knows something, but the reader will have to keep going to find out what she said to the officer in charge of the investigation. And who is Frank Carter? Who is The Whisper Man?
