This book begins with a letter from a father to his son because they don't communicate well; it then splits into different stories which I imagine will gradually converge.
Jake is a lonely child, he has friends but only he can see them. He is moving to a new home in a small village and his father hopes things will change for the better. I have a feeling change is inevitable but how good it is remains to be seen.
