If the cover wasn't enough to grab you the first paragraph will. After reading only to page 39 I am completely invested in this book. I absolutely have to know more about Jake, his father and their relationship. I want to know more about Rebecca as well. What happened to Neil? Will he be found? Is there a connection to Frank? Now that I have shared all of the questions that are making my heart race I have to say The Whisper Man is very well written. Every description is perfectly executed and the flow is very smooth and the transitions are seamless. I'm excited to read this entire book even if it means I'll never leave another door "part way open". Excellent!
