Who knew that Alexa and Drew’s paths would cross in an elevator and that there lives would be forever changed? This book is a modern day romance with a good amount of modern day issues that don’t allow for the characters to find their “happily ever after” ending quickly. I found this book a joy to read and a challenge to put down. The characters were easy to get to know and I felt like they were very relatable and personable. The storyline was incredibly believable and flowed effortlessly between good times and times of conflict between the characters. This is an easy read that allows the reader to become invested in the characters and wanting what is best for them. I love this this is the first book in a series and that the next books allow the reader to get to know other characters more deeply.
