I hesitated when I first saw the description due to its hints of high steam. Yet once I finally dipped my foot into the story, I found more fun and depth than I anticipated. The story features a strong female character who still experiences self doubt. Through her relationship, we see the importance of communication and clear expectations, a lesson we can all benefit from learning. The steam is still there, but it cools off frequently enough to keep you from overheating. I enjoyed the development of the characters on an individual level, the relationship, the careers and the friendships. Though some argue that their issues were too simple, I found them to ring true to life. Even the most intelligent and successful people fail when it comes to clearly communicating their expectations or goals.
