Hard to rate based on two chapters alone, but so far I am far from impressed with the writing. Lots of "she said, he said, they said" and generally lackluster descriptions. I love a goof fluffy book as much as the next person, but this doesn't seem to have the writing, either in style or in terms of "hooking you with plot" to keep me interested. Normally I reserve 1 stars for DNFs and two stars for books that are terrible but I slogged through - I was able to finish the preview, so two stars, but I feel no compunction to keep reading to find out what happens to any of the characters. Sadly, this is almost entirely due to the writing :(
