After I saw Roxane Gay tweeting about how much she enjoyed this book, I was really excited to read it. I enjoyed the dual perspective storytelling; it;s always great in a romance watching one character in a scene and then immediately seeing the flip perspective - especially when one character says something like "I wonder why he's making that face" and then we find out why or when one character is like "I wish my hair would cooperate" and then we hear the other person thinking "I love when thier hair is all wild". I loved the meet cute in the beginning of the book - two strangers flirting in an elevator was even more charming than i anticipated. The way Drew and Alexa's relationship evolved throughout the book felt really true and honest (a problem I find often in romance-y novels). The Wedding Date was a cute fun read.
