I was really excited to win this book from Bookish! I've already seen a lot of authors that I follow talking about how great this book is, so it was definitely on my radar. And my excitement was rewarded. This is a fun, contemporary romance this tons of great characters.
I liked that there was some diversity amongst the characters, but it's not made into a huge deal. It comes up naturally a few times in conversations between Alexa and Drew, but it never feels forced or didactic.
The style of writing is breezy and fun. It was as easy to pick up and read a few pages at a time as it was to veg on the couch and read for a couple hours. I liked see the viewpoint of both of the main characters. The story had a compelling start and great momentum throughout the story. I will totally recommend this one!
