I got a free autographed copy of this book at BookCon when i got to meet the author in 2019. She was a very lovely person.
I really enjoyed this book. I usually read more thrillers or mysteries but sometimes I just need a break and want a lighter, fluffy read, one that will not give me nightmares.
There were more sex scenes than I really wanted to read and not really necessary to the plot (again why I don't read a lot of romance lol).
The book could have done a better job of forming the relationship and not just the sex scenes. There were a lot of food scenes as well, which just made the book drag a bit more.
I did have a hard time finishing it even though I loved the premise.
I would give the author another chance on one of her books but if it is similar in style to this one, I do not know if I would be able to read more than that. it took a few times of starting and stopping the book to be able to finish it.
